Self-Advocate

 

Thelma Greene, is a strong self-advocate in the District of Columbia for individuals with disabilities.  In addition to serving on Shared Horizons’ Board, Thelma serves on the Board of Directors of the Quality Trust for Individuals with Disabilities and has not missed a meeting for either Boards since becoming involved.  She tirelessly  advocates on behalf of her peers with disabilities, offering substantial insight the marketing committee as we strive to reach out to all residents in the District of Columbia Metropolitan area. 

 

Thelma is involved in her community and is interested in the voting process and making sure it is accessible to all residents.
