Ron M. Landsman is the principal of Ron M. Landsman, P.A., focusing on elder law, Medicaid, supplemental needs trusts, estate and disability planning, and guardianship and conservatorship in Washington, D.C., and Maryland. He earned his law degree from the University of Michigan in 1974; clerked in the [old] Fifth Circuit; handled antitrust appeals at the Department of Justice for four years; and, has had his own practice for the past 23 years.

 

Mr. Landsman is a Fellow of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and served as Chairman of the Elder Law Section, Maryland State Bar Association, from 1997-1998. He has also served on the steering committee of the D.C. Bar Section on Estate, Trust and Probate Law.

 

Mr. Landsman is slated to provide programs for the D.C. Superior Court, D.C. Bar, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys annual symposium, and the National Law and Aging Conference.  With Ralph Moore, of Shea and Gardner, he coauthored “Planning for Disability,” in BNA’s Tax Management Portfolio series, No. 816.
